Building the front end of a sales funnel in your auto responder that generates revenue can be broken down into two steps. Your first point of connecting with your prospect is straight after they enter their details and become your subscriber.

By default your auto responder company will provide a default confirmation (thank you) page. This is where they are redirected to once they have signed up to your list.

This is your first chance to get your message across and incorporate an upsell into your confirmation page.

Usually you would make this a unique offer where they are receiving a special discount for subscribing to your list. You could also try hosting free gifts or free trials from other vendors on your confirmation page and earn commissions from any upsells what is clickfunnels pricing.

The key here is not to go overboard with the price of your initial offer.

You want to make the initial sale a low entry fee.

If subscriber X takes the offer and purchases then you can redirect them from the checkout page to another web page where you have yet another upsell for them.

If subscriber Z doesn’t take the initial offer then you can redirect them (put a link at the bottom of page) to a down sell where you would make them a lower cost offer.

Again if subscriber Z takes the down sell offered to them and purchases then you would redirect them to the second upsell after they have completed their purchase.

You could extend beyond two upsells, but as this is first point of contact, I would suggest sticking to just two.

Secondly you have the chance to monetize your confirmed page.

This will only work if you use the confirm opt ins function with your auto-responder. This is where your new subscriber is redirected to once they confirm to opt in to your list.

Again you can monetize this and create a custom web page where you could have a personal thank you message. This also provides another opportunity to add affiliated web banners to free products and services that could earn you money with any upsells.

Most importantly you must maintain a level of trust with your new prospect, as they don’t know, like or trust you yet. Make your unique offer something of value to them. That they can get for a really low price.

If they are pleased with their purchase and gained value from it then they will be much more likely to respond to your e mails in your auto re-sponders follow up sequence.

This of course is where you would have the back end to your sales funnel.

Remember to continually test, track and tweak your sales funnel as you can extract more revenue from higher conversions in your sales funnel than you can from driving more traffic through it!
